Father's Day
Father's Day was a wonderful day for my sweet hubby, besides the fact that I did NOT get his present wrapped...... T was into the giving daddy a present, he gladly brought daddy his gift to him (a set of golf balls) and giggled as he gave it to him.
We came home after church and had a relaxing afternoon and then ran a couple of errands and stopped by A's parents to drop of his dad's father's day gift and his mom's birthday gift..... T even "helped" while I wrapped the gifts for A's parents, he deposited a couple of things in the sack to A's mom from my gift closet.
T has such a wonderful daddy, I married such a wonderful man. He's a little silly, a little cute (actually, he's VERY HANDSOME) and a little mischievous, and most importantly A SOLID CHRISTIAN MAN, he stands for what is right in all things and makes no bones about he is 100% mine and T's FOREVER!!!!
Last year he lost his job and decided what's a dad to do but follow his heart and he went back to teaching Pre-K and a position happened to be available at T's Daycare so he gets to be with T all day long. They see each other off and on all day! I don't know alot of women that could be with a bunch of kids under Kindergarten all day and still love being with there own toddler!!!!!
T and daddy are the best of friends! They chase each other, dance together, kiss and hug mommy together! I love to just sit back and watch them both laugh at whatever they are doing, in the end I'm laughing also. Sometimes I listen to the conversations between A and T and A tells him "let's pray" and T repeats "pray" or A will say "let's get ready for church" and T says "church." Most mornings the first thing we hear from T is "DADDY" and if we don't appear PRONTO we hear "MOMMY" and then sometimes we hear giggling (which makes me giggle)!
But I know that Daddy is the first thing on his mind and at this time in T's life I would not have it any other way, because MY HUSBAND is a man of HONOR, VALOR and tries everyday to live as Christ and what I see is a little boy already wanting to be with and act like such a great man of God and it warms this mommy's heart that T is already learning to do the right things.
